Goshawk Accipiter gentilis

Goshawks have a grayish silvery plumage as adults. The most distinctive ID feature of this bird is the white eyebrow above a red eye. They are usually very shy and hide themselves, but become very aggressive during breeding season. Goshawks prefer to live deep in dense woods. Click to hear them.
