Letters To The Editor

Dear Editor,
The old memory box apparently has started to play tricks with me, so please include this as a PS to straighten out my story.
My sincere apologies to those who may have been upset with me substituting the main characters in the Coker Bus Backfiring Saga.  For some reason my memory wants me to think I'm right, I can't deny it.  Still it was a good yarn, you must admit.

Yours truly,  Derek Andrews

Dear Editor,
I am writing regarding an article published in the February 2001 issue of the Ropewalker 'Memories of Derek Andrews'.
I feel I must correct this as the late Mr Jim Hunt (my brother) was not at any time employed as a bus driver for the Southern National.
It would appear that there has been a confusion of characters and I would appreciate it if in a future issue you would set the record straight.  Hopefully then the story could be laid to rest.  Thank you.      Yours Sincerely,

Rosalie S Harries (Mrs)

Dear Editor,

St. Martin's Summer Fete

I have been asked to organise a stall selling plants and would appreciate any donations of surplus

seedlings, cuttings etc. which I can grow on.
Be wary of leaving plants uncovered in my garden as our two rabbits will very likely eat them but all contributions will be gratefully received at 23, Manor Street.

DearEditor,
How nice that we have such well behaved children living in our village.
Not content with riding their bikes and scooters on the pavements, they have now resorted to our lawns.
Thank you for the damage you have done to ours.

Dear Editor,
A BIG MOAN: After participating in the village clean up day, it is very disappointing to see just how much rubbish is accumulating again!
Also, we with dogs all know how difficult it is at the moment, however, who ever is letting their dog 'perform' outside our house, would you be kind enough to poop scoop like most responsible dog owners do!
