BOB ALLEN

A cheque for £800 was recently donated to The Playground Fund in memory of Bob Allen.  A fitting tribute to a fine man who is greatly missed.

The Ropewalker has printed many stories of old West Coker and the characters that inhabited the village at the time (mostly by Derek Andrews - and we have one of his stories for the next issue).  But what of today's village characters?  To start we give you Roger 'Sooty' Morris!
