Pete: The College Years:

In a small metropolitan town in Michigan there lies a land.  A land that is very foreign to people from Ohio, and yet Pete ventrued to the other side to achieve a degree in architecture.  The school is actually quite nice, it's in a nice location, wonderful profs, and a nice campus.  The problem lies in the Administration.  The Provost office is terrible, the Financial aid is anything but and housing is a hole in the ground that is way over priced for what you get.  A word to the wise, when looking at colleges talk to people that arn't on the tour, find people that are not paid to lie to you and ask to get to real dirt.  You must dig deeper than the campus tour guide to really know what you are getting into.  There is something to be said about oncampus housing that is all appartments, they have thier advantages.  The downfall?  Roommates you can't stand and you are always cooking for yourself.  The roommate aspect my sister covers on her page quite well, you either learn to hate them or learn to be best of friends, I fortunatly have had the pleasure of both sides.  This page will be filled with a few pictures and mostly stories of what's going on.  And let me tell you, I have the stories!!!  I have had eight roommates in four semesters, the odds are not good let me tell you!  And those are things you can read about on this page.  One plus to my life here is my work on campus I work for some really great people here.  I couldn't ask for better bosses and couldn't ask to be treated any better by any employer.  Maybe I'll con them into posing for some pictures some day!
