KIP BOARDMAN ," Upon The Stars", Ridisculous records

"Upon The Stars" is a debuut album from Los Angeles singer/songwriter Kip Boardman. Befor this, he was a bassplayer around L.A. Kip makes a beautiful country-rock album with some help from well known artists as Don Heffington, Tony Gilkyson, Danny McGough, backing vocals from Mike Stinson and Amy Corscia and some lead guitar from Randy Weeks.
The consistent themes throughout the album are tales of love lost, love found, love maintained, If you are a fan of The Band, Neil Young and Willie Nelson, you must listen to this guy.
Originally recorded in Kip's living room.

DANNY BRITT "The Other Side", Red Dawg Records

"The Other Side" is the second release from Danny Britt. His first album "Danny Briit and Red Dawg" was released in 2001. Both releases on Britts own leabel Red Dawg together with his partner Ren Loffin.
On this new release Danny works together with some fine musicians as there are Kelly Willis with husband Bruce Robison, Christine Albert, Chris Gage, Marvin Dykhous, Chip Boland and more.
Danny describes his music as "Free Range Folk Rock". For me "The Other Side" is a beautiful album of heartfelt lyrics and beautiful melodies.
Original music rooted in bluegrass, Americana and folk music.

CHRIS STUART, "Angels Of Mineral Springs", Backcountry Records

"Angels Of Mineral Springs" is Chris Stuart's debuut release on Backcountry Records.
Chris Stuart is a very talented singer and songwriter with a beautiful voice wich you will like very much if you like some good music. It's a fine album with some great Americana-Roots, Folk and some Bluegrass sound. Many of his songs are recorded by other well known artists like Claire Lynch,Sally Jones, etc..
It's difficult to name the best songs on his album because I like them all.
It's a disc worth seeking out and hearing.
You will love this one like I do. You can buy it without listening.
