APPLEBY and TAYLOR                 FAMILY  PHOTOS
Thomas Appleby was the first Appleby to arrive in Newfoundland, Canada.
The original photograph was on tin and a picture was taken of it by a cousin of mine. Thomas Appleby was my great great grandfather.
The family to the right is the young Taylor family.  The father is Thomas Taylor, son of John Taylor (above), the mother is Selina Ann Brewer, daughter of Susan Brewer and Edward Brewer, and the baby girl is Primadine.  Primadine Taylor was born in August of 1904 in Burin, Nfld, so the picture was probably taken around February of 1905.  She married Hubert Frank Appleby and gave birth to my mother.  Primadine resides in St. Lawrence, Nfld.
Thomas Taylor was tragically lost at sea in 1918.
Primadine shared this photo with me and allowed me to take a picture of it about eight years ago while visiting with my mom in Nova Scotia.
All the Taylor information can be found on the
Taylor Family Page.
