A SOLDIER                               DIED TODAY
Everett Floyd Tibert - As published in the Halifax Herald on February 13, 2001 - 82, Halifax, died Sunday February 11, 2001, at home.  Born in Liscomb, he was a son of the late William C. and Eva S. (MacDonald) Tibert.  He was a decorated veteran of the Second World War, wounded in action.  He is survived by daughters, Marjorie Thompson, Kathy Tibert-Noonan, Wendy Carlisle, Kimberley Brackett; son, Ronald Tibert; sisters, Joyce and Ruby; brothers, Robert, Obert, Chudleigh and Melvin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Rolland, Scott, Cecil, Leonard, Steve, John, Lawrence, Odessa and Mary and Leila.  Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 14 in Cruikshank's Funeral Home, Halifax.  Cremation to follow.  No service by request.  Burial in the spring.  Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
ARRIVE AT HALIFAX HOSPITAL - A few minutes after they were taken off the hospital ship "Letitia" at Halifax this week, these victims of Jerry shellfire relaxed at Halifax Military Hospital.  They are, left to right:  Pte.
