Died, at his residence, one and one half miles northeast of Roberts, John Ruedger, of typhoid fever. Mr. Ruedger long been sick for several months and for some time has not been expected to live. The family has the sympathy of many friends.

In the matter of guardianship of Henry, Alexander, John, and Lydia Ruedger, minor children of Margaretha Ruedger, deceased. Petition for letters filed by Jacob Blesch. Petition granted. Bond set at $1400. Letters ordered to issue.
