Class Party 2002
Its a Sunday afternoon. Im watching Sunderland playing Tottenham at the moment. And theres cattle after walking passed my house. Strange that. I got a fright for a minute because I thought they were mine. Luckily not. Anyway, I spent most of the day writing about a trip to Cork to get a stone, trying to put pictures on the site, changing around a few other bits and trying to finish my OOP. So with most of it done, and the OOP nearly working, Ill tell ye all (Dave) about our class party.

The Class Party? The wha you may ask. Our class having a party. Strange that since only a handful of the class ever go out. Theres the usual suspects that do go. Myself, Pecker, Dave and Joe an odd time, James and the rest of the lads in the student village are out most of the time. And I mean by that, theyre out nearly every night! But after that, its a rare sight to see many from our class out. So when a class party was announced, I must admit I was kind of excited. Excited as in happy that is, not as in getting a boner. But excitement turned to the feeling of Who the fuck organised that when I seen the notice in the CASE Lab. Just imagine it. Other classes go to Cork, Galway and other spots. Why cant we? To have a party in Docs of Limerick was such a blow to the system, I had to sit down! Docs. I try avoid that place at all costs. And why have a party when the project is murdering us, the week after a presentation when most of the class went out, and the week before the biggest piss up of our college life the grad? These are questions I wanted answered so I tackled our class rep. One of them at least. And that individual was Noelle McNamara. And what did she say? I didnt organise it says she. Is she class rep or what? Bring back Seery I say. He got shafted out of that job.  But nevertheless, a party is a party so make the most of it.

The day started off grand. The usual Thursday morning stint of sitting under Des nose, followed by coffee with Ann and some project work. I was out late the 2 nights before it due to a stone collection trip on Tuesday and coming home top Borris on Wednesday. It was 4am when I got to sleep them two nights. So at dinnertime on the Thursday, I went to bed for a couple of hours before going back to college. Once back in college I realised the class was cancelled so Joe and myself joined Anto and Creano in the Davin for dinner. Got a steak sandwich and a pint of Murphys. Nice!
