| The start of the year. | ||||||
| Welcome to 2003. Nice one eh? According to DeathClock, I now only have 13 years to live. Not much is it? Ah well, Ill be young so it wont bother me. Its now 4 days into 2003. Only 361 days left. That means 354 shopping days till Christmas. My advice, shop now and avoid the rush! Ive done shit all so far this year. I get up, look after my few animals, and then sit down messing on the computer for the day, until night when I either go to bed, or go out. Usually bed I head to. I spent New Years Eve playing music. It was a good night by all accounts, and I had no beer. I started at half 9, and finished at 3 the next morning. I was wrecked after it but as you know, I had nothing to do the next day so I stayed in bed till 1. I bought FIFA 2003 yesterday for my computer. I was getting bored of Championship Manager. It only cost 50 in Tesco so I think I got a good deal. More advice here, if you go to buy this game, make sure you get 2 disks, cos in Tesco, they tried to convince me there was only one, even though the disk they gave me said DISK 2 on it. Stupid bastards. But once I got it I couldnt wait to play it. Once I got home, I loaded up the game, only to be told that the game needed a 3D accelerator to work. I was gutted. 50 down the drain. But it should of worked because I had an accelerator on my machine. Now not to go into too much detail, I had to download a new driver for my graphics card. I recommend this because youll get the newest technology, and its free. This took about an hour to download because my connection is slow. But once done, and installed my game worked. The relief was brilliant. And its some game. Its way harder than previous versions, but its still way behind ISS on the PS2. And this is my last weekend of the Christmas holidays. Ill have to head back to college tomorrow or the next day. Im not looking forward to that because its going to be a hectic week or so. Fucking project crap. Ill get thick thinking about it. But for now I wont worry about it. Im looking at darts on Sky. The world championship is on and its at the semi-finals now. The first game is brilliant. John Part and Kevin Painter. The score is 4 sets all and its first to 6. I wouldnt mind going to that tournament because the atmosphere seems brilliant, and everyone is on the beer. It looks great! I was hoping to have the car next week for college. I know Joe will have his, but a trip on the bus is not appealing. And the weather is freezing. 4 outside now. I just checked the temperature gauge on the car! But alas, I wont have the car. It had an accident earlier today, and I wasnt driving. My father was. He was coming back from a funeral and some old crazy woman driver came flying around a turn on the wrong side of the road. Me father drove up into the ditch to try avoid her but she still managed to hit our vehicle. Me father was very lucky because she hit the front wing on the drivers side, knocked the mirror off our machine, and beat in the two doors on the drivers side. The mechanic says well need a new front and back door, and a front and back wing for the car. Plus a mirror. The father wasnt happy so I decided it would be safer to say nothing. Thats going to cost a fortune but the old birds insurance should pay for it. Now for the benefit of my local viewers, this little tip happened on the first turn after Avonmore creamery gates. Ye know the one, just where the new well is. So if ye are passing there, say a little prayer for my car. Im going to head off now and stay watching the darts. John Part just beat Painter 6 4. It was a good game, and theres another one on now with Phil Taylor. So Ill head off. And enjoy yourselves till the next time. Good luck yall. |
