What happens now?
Exactly. What the hell happens next? Its 6 days till Christmas 2002. And I guess your all wondering what Ive been up to since. Well to be honest, nothing. I didnt do anything. After the grad, the project really kicked in and everyone was shit busy. And on top of that, the exams were only a few days away. So most of the time was spent with my head buried in a computer screen.

As most people know already, the project is a bitch. We all worked hard to get what we had to do done and we did succeed. When the last hand-up for the year was given in, the relief was brilliant. Just plain brilliant. But the relief and joy was short lived as the pressure of Christmas exams finally kicked in. 2 days to learn 3 months work. That was the situation. But things dont always work out the way they are planned. I came home on the weekend to work for my old lad who was in Gran Canaria. I wasnt happy about it but what could I do? And then to make matters worse, I crashed the van. Thats all I needed. I was driving into the meat factory in Roscrea and I hit a cement pole on the way into the car park. I was raging and scared. Raging for crashing, scared of the old lad. Once I parked the van, I assessed the damage. It wasnt pretty. Broken light, bursted bumper and the wing was in a state too. I was screwed. But not to worry. These things happen, but the father wouldnt see it like that. Once home, I got a munch before changing some stuff on the website, downloading music and chatting to the lads on messenger. That screwed study. I told the old lad about the van, he lost the plot and the smart bastard held my grad money (650) to ransom until it was fixed. Bed beckoned and the next day was spent doing the same shit on the net. I headed for Limerick early. The girls joined me on my bus for the trip down. It was strange to have someone to talk to. Once home, food called again and I headed for the Chinese with Joe. Not much study done that night either.
