Ramble #17
My new coat
well things are finnally looking up, i feel enormously cheerfull the last couple of days. i couldnt do any rants the olast couple of weeks cos i was so miserable, but now, man i feel totally freaky. yaaaa. so what do we opwe this fantastic change to?........simple. my new coat of course!
my new coat, when i first set my beutiful eyes on it, was sitting on a hanger at the back of a whole heap of much shinier glamourous, kate moss type coats in shaws in roscrea. quickly pulled from its obsurity by the delicate hands of one john d, he let his eyes linger on its fantastic waterproof fabrics, its buttons made from the finest plastics availible to the genius manufacturers at TRESPASS LTD, before quickly coming out of the trance the coat had placed him in to check the price.
20 yoyos, half price sale! well i nearly creamed myself.
i tryed it on, and, hawklike, before any other man woman or child could rip it from my steely grasp, i plonked the aforementioned coat on the counter and produced my platinum diners club credit card( actually 2 10 euro notes) and said "mr salesman, i should be indebeted to you if you should wrapp it up in a silky bag, for thats what wrer talking about here"
i walked out of the shop a nbew man. where once there was desolation and sorrow,
there is now peace and love
for all mankind.
of course, i alone can see the beuty in my neww purchase. all the lads are taking the piss big time out of my new threads, but i say "fie, i give not a fig for your insolent and unflattering remarks avout my new coat, for it is true that they all laughed at the great geniuses that have walked before us" and they say, "ya, whatever"
heres a quick discription for those who have not encountered the elegance that
i bring to each place i visit:
its green, got 2 pockets, a grey zip, roughly 5 buttons
i cant explain it, i feel like a sort of park ranger, at one with nature or something. its a very nice coat. and it keeps me warm
next week: i shall talk about my new hat, and a chocolate bar that i bought
last tuesday
