What about them Patriots? With three Super Bowl appearences in a four year span, they might just be the greatest dynasty in NFL history, and Coach Bill just tied the mighty Vince Lombardi for post season wins/loss. Will the Patriots claim a third title, or will the Eagles bring home the win for the first time? E-mail me with responces and I will post them on the webpage.
My personal opinion is that the Pats will bring home the gold... and this time not by the skin of their teeth. The Eagles have a pretty good defensive unit, with Jevon Kearse and Jeramiah Trotter, that will keep the score close. But the Patriots have a superb offencive unit to put points on the board and a defense beyond anything I have seen. Eugene Wilson and Rodney Harrison to shut down the passing attack, and Bruschi, Vrabel and the defensive line to shut down Westbrook's explosive running. And not to sound stupid or anything, but the Steelers did beat Philly by 24 points in Pittsburgh, and the Pats beat the Steelers by 14 points. So statistically speaking the Patriots are a 38 point favorites in the Super Bowl.
But hey, that's just my opinion. |
