eddy and arty handles the guitars,victoinox handles the bass,t$ handles the latin precussions and ghetto beats and reuben runs around and claps and sometimes plays keyboards and makes noises and scream and does drugs like phil alsalmo

how long has the band been around and how did the band come about?
umm..i recently joined the band in october but they have been around for a few years now.tony joined last year then their old singer left the country and i weasled my way in.im sneaky like that

whats the deal with the lyrics? you dont give them out?
i dont.

is there a reason?
mostly saftey precusions and I really enjoy having privacy but id just like kids to take the words and go wherever they want with them like whatever you think i said..thats ehither what i said or what you really wanted me to say.that and they arnt that good anyways.what the fuck do you care what im saying?

what does painokeys and empty bullet shells mean?
its a term i use for smashing a glass of scotch into the fireplace.

lack of oxygen,fixation and sleep...the cure,deftones,american nightmare,the misfits,at the drive in...there are so many bands i couldent name them all...pantera..

you wrote a  story and did the artwork for your ep "the white night concerto"....
i dident do the artwork..but yeah i did the story..i originally wanted to write something simillar to what refused had on their cd where it links all the songs togehter.but then i had a weird dream about castlevania and a reoccuring nightmare so i wrote about that instead.castlevania owns you anyways

you guys have an intense live show..how would you describe your band live and recorded?
live we are having fun...like playing infront of our friends and going crazy is just fun as hell.we want the crowd to participate too..like i have  total hardcore band ethics of the band and the crowd are the same so i love it when kids singalong and go off and whatknot.and recording is an artform like everyone gives it what we got creativly and all that stuff.that sounded gay.

what are the best cd's of this year 2003?
new trail of dead,the new radiohead, the new deftones and the new mars volta which arnt out yet but what ive heard from both of them is unfuckwithable

hows the miami scene?
its pretty lame...like a band like us where we really dont fit in to a catagory of music we are pretty fucked.unless you play in a numetal band or salsa down here your kinda screwed.we normally play shows with hardcore/punk bands which has worked out pretty good for us

last 2 questions....i hear you guys still have 3 more recordings to come out this year?
yeah...we are doing a 4 band split with our good freinds in nsr,mona,nir.which we are done recording for..the songs are hard to explain.i think they are more on a progression from "ep" side of things its really good thou and blows the ep out of the water..and then we are doing a split with nsr which the song ideas me and reub have been toying around with are crazy as fuck...picture AN meets radiohead's kid a. who knows how thats gonna work out im just talking shit out of my ass...then we work on our full length which should be all over the place..i cant wait for that..then we do a split with the artist fromerly known as prince

where do you see roomwithaview in 5 years?
one of two or three places...one, touring and playing a completly style of music than we are playing now,thats just how we are as pepole..right now we all enjoy what we are doing...but im sure we will bore of it and drastically change.its happend before and this band adapted nicely like before i joined the band they played like a different style then pulled a cave in move and changed 360 degrees..two,someone will prolly have o.d'ed off something(my guess is reuben) and ill be in a mental institution..3,broken up.
