Released in 1998. This album is a shall we say vast improvement on some of his earlier albums. This album has a variety of song styles. For example the rocking �vertigo man� which guests Ozzy Osbourne on backing vocals. The beautiful �king of broken hearts� which is a lovely sounding track with superb lyrics. Ringo also covered �the Beatles� track �love me do� with a new a new ending.

From what I can make out some of the songs that Ringo wrote sound very personal. �Puppet� for example is about putting Ringo Starr (the puppet) to bed and living his life outside away from the stage or the public eye as Richard Starkey. Also the song �I�m yours� is a lovely song about his love for his wife.

This album has a lot of guest artists like Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Alanis Morriset, Ozzy Osbourne, Joe Walsh and Steve Tyler. To name a few. With this guest list. This album is class regardless of what the songs are like.
