| The Music are incredibly difficult to categorize. They're rock with a slight indie vibe whilst incorpating dance elements with soaring vocals. All will become clear once you've heard them. This isn't a huge step forward from their debut self-titled album but then if it ain't broke don't fix it. Often referred to as a Led Zepplin meets dance can certainly be backed up by listening to (or even better watching the video for) first single Freedom Fighters. Vocalist Robery Harvey looks like Robert Plant learning how to dance like Jimmy Sommerville! Yet he still manages to pull it off looking quite cool - now, THAT'S talent! You've got the rockier tracks thundering through the album big stadium style (One Way In No Way Out, Cessation), mixed with some genuienly lovely lighter in air moments (Into The Night, Fight The Feeling) to the dancier vibes of opening track Welcome To The North or Breakin'. Album closes with the Manic-esque Open Your Mind & you're left seeing what all the hype surrounding this band was about. 8 out of 10 Best Tracks - Freedom Fighters, Into The Night, Fight The Feeling |
