Some essays
As promised here is the essay section. As things lie at present I need to convert plenty of my essays to a web friendly format. That is to say, I need to type them!! But I shall get round to that in due course and everyone shall be happy! I believe they will cover a variety of topics but if you look for politics then I feel you will be sorely disappointed because I do not dabble in that murky world nor do I profess to have any knowledge of the inner workings of that -- ah -- lucrative field!
Essay 1: Losing Friends
Shocked reactions Some dear friends of mine were unfortunate enough to have been caught in that melee that took place in the States on 11 September. One of them was my greatest friend and I am still coming to terms with it all.
Essay 2: Why Am I Still A Virgin?
Hold you horses!! Controversy from the word go! Why would a perfectly young lad in full control of his faculties opt to hold his horses? Being old fashioned, unable to get with the program or just stupid?
Essay 3: Stereotypes
Mambo bado! I am a fairly liberal chap and I tolerate almost everything. However nothing annoys me more than any kind of stereotype. If you have comments to the effect that "men are all the same..." or "Kikuyus are..." or "Muslims are all..." you are mine enemy!(Note that I am NEITHER Kikuyus nor Muslim!)
Essay 4: Abortion, Execution & Euthanasia
Tulia boss, tulia!!! Yet again taking on the masses! I believe firmly that your life is a precious commodity and no one has a right over it. Not another state, not the police, not the courts -- NOT EVEN YOU! I believe that life is too precious a commodity and NO ONE has the right to take it away!
