hippopotamus is greek for 'river horse'

1.5m/5ft high at the shoulder

Can run at up to 40mph/60kph

Head and body measure about 2m plus the tail is an extra 1m. The lioness is slightly smaller than the lions. Can grow up to 4m long.

The elephant has very large ears and a flattened forehead

Can grow up to 1.6m

Feeds on small mamals and lizards
