KINDERGARTEN GUIDELINES
The kindergarten year is a gift of time which enables the young child to experience the joy of being created and uniquely gifted by a loving Father.
Therefore, the Kindergarten Program in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia provides opportunities for:
1. growth in awareness of the Father's love as experienced in family, parish and community.
2. development of a positive self-image.
3. development of a social interdependence with adults and peers.
4. experiences which will enable the child to communicate effectively with others.
5. development of those motor skills which will lead to proficiency and coordination in action and movement.
