Devon

In the beginning, I and mister Agentos arrived to the inn. Settling down and arranging things for staying overnight was a good way to start the game. The evening in the inn was quite atmospheric, and it was nice to just observe the people while keeping watch over Agamentos. The hunters were an quick but exciting interruption, which gave something to talk about for some time. Trade negotiations with the master of the inn were also fun to play (hopefully they didnt take too much of your time). Of course it was a great surprise to find Anwen in the inn. I was quite afraid that our history would be somehow, by some Anwens slip, revealed.

The first time evening was interrupted when the ghost appeared. The soldiers didnt tell for a while whats going on, but soon the word got around. I saw only a glimpse of the ghost outside (which was, I herd, great and really spooky). At some point the treasure hunters came back, and we started to sort out the papers. I was just curious, and translated some of the texts to mr. Agamentos.

The plot thickened when I finally had time to talk with Anwen. She explained the whole episode in Middlewoods, and her sudden disappearence. By a freak accident we found out from the papers in the treasure, that her persecutor used a vampiric symbol. And she told that there were rather relentless assassins after her. That was all bad news, but for old times sake I promised to help, if I just could. Anwyn was wisely discuised as a local, and I thought I might say she was my second cousin, an old friend from back home or something like that, though the idea of adopting Anwyn made me a bit nervous, as it turned out that she still made her living by stealing.

And indeed, the storyteller wanted to speak with Anwen, and she turned out to be an assassin, sent after Anwyn by that mysterious pidgeon-person. Although it was a relief to have such a confession, I didnt turn my back to that woman after that. I never learned, why she revealed herself to us. Nevertheless it seemed that they had found Anwen again, and she was in danger. I tried to keep her next to me when possible.

And then the hunter was found dead, and the whole thing got just messed up. The soldiers didnt have a clue, but tried anyway. The rumors about a vampire in the inn crowd got wild, and nobody knew what to do. Two other hunters died, and everything went inside. That was just all right for me, and about the first sensible desicion that lieutenant had made so far.

And then they came. Those sloppy no-good soldiers had forgotten their shield somewhere, so I ended up in the front line, to take all the hits. An there were plenty. A lot to the legs, and a few to head, I suppose. When I lost track of them, I thought it was time to drop. I ended up to the floor bleeding, and everything went dark...

I suppose whether Devon survives or not, is up to doc. Besides folklore, he seemed to know something about patching people up. Yes, probably it would be a nice idea for Devon to survive, but crippled for life. And having a soldierss pension, so Ive heard. And well, if Anwyn should choose to stay around, it would be great news for Devon, being without friends, badly hurt and unable to make his living, the old way anyway.

So, my game was mostly hanging around, keeping eye for the trouble, and keeping mr. Agamentos away from it. The game was fun, and the character had just enough to play, but wasnt too burdened with troubles. Playing a warrior was nice too, havent played them that much. And I even got beaten up! Great.

Oh, and the papers in the treasure! They were so great! It was truly hard to find the important and sensible ones from there, there was so much stuff, and everything was great fun to read. What a prop!
