Rood Mood was brought together in 2005 to enter a Battle of the Bands, of which a friends band was a 4 yr running Champion, due to a date change all the other bands dropped out, so;
Gordy Pettipas (Lead Guitar/Vocals),
Jim Slater (Guitar/Vocals),
Jeff "Waldo" White (Drums/Vocals),
  Rob Newton (Bass)
got togeather and after only 4 collective practices Tied with the reigning Champs. After that they decided to see how far they could get playing area clubs.
