Born Feb 2, 1890, in Bucyrus, she was a daughter of John F. and Cornelia Magers Landis.
Surviving are her brother, Paul Landis of Bucyrus and a sister, Mrs Bruce Sharrock of Bucyrus.

He was born Aug 26, 1859, and was married for 39 years to Miss Catherine Snyder; she survives. They had 2 children: John F. Kalb, who lives 8 mi North of Bucyrus, and Mrs Edith Lutz, who lives on the home farm.

She was born Feb 13, 1868 in Chatfield Tp. and lived in that area her entire life. ON April 19, 1888, she was married to John Kalb, who died in Sep 1935.

Also surviving are a brother Jacob Kalb of Chatfield, and three sisters, Mrs Sarah Long and Mrs Harry Orewiler, both of Bucyrus, and mrs Melvin Mesiter of Liberty Tp.

A truck driver for Bucyrus Road Materials Co., Mr Kepler was a 1929 Lykens HS graduate.

Surviving are two sisters.....
He was a farmer in the North Robinson area, east of here, for more than 50 yrs before his retirement in 1944 when he moved to Bucyrus. He belonged to St John's Lutheran church at Leesville....

A native of Chatfield township, he was a lifelong Crawford County resident and a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church at North Robinson.
He leaves his widow, Della; two sons, Ralph and Harold of Bucyrus; a daughter, Mrs Marcellus McAdams of Columbus; a brother, Samuel, of Bucyrus, two sisters Mrs Katherine Smith of Crestline and Mrs Charles Berry of Bucyrus; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Born July 23, 1893 at Chatfield, she was a daughter of Jacob and Caroline Leonhart Shafer. In April 1914, she married Alva Ziegler who died in Dec 1923. Her marriage to Mr Krigis [sic] was Jan 9, 1932.... She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church at Chatfield.
Surviving with her husband are children, Mrs Harry Scheerer, Mrs Cofoid High and Gerald Ziegler, all of New Washington, step children, David Kirgis Jr and Willard Kirgis, both of Lykens, and Paul Kirgis of Mansfield, and a brother and sisters... "Carl William Kloepfer, 47, foreman for the state highway department at Bucyrus and prominent amateur flower grower, dropped dead of a heart attack on the street while on his way home at 5pm yesterday.
Born April 17, 1887, in Bucyrus, Mr Kloepfer was the son of Christian and Fredrika Kloepfer of Bucyrus. He was a lifelong member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and to the Deutsche Gefeldschaft to Bucyrus.
Surviving are his wife; his parents, one brother Fred C., of Bucyrus; three sisters Carrie, Gertrude and Mrs Joseph Rogers, all of Bucyrus. A brother and sister preceded him in death.... Burial will be in Oakwood...." Mansfield News Journal, 26 March 1937
"Bucyrus-- Mrs Mae L. Kloepfer, 69, prominent Bucyrus woman, who resided on Marion Ave., died after a heart attack Sunday in Florida. Mrs Kloepfer maintains a winter home in Pompano, Fla., and was driving in Del Ray, Fla., Sunday afternoon.
Relatives here said she was accompanied by two neighbors and Mrs Clara Smith who shared her home. They had gone to Del Ray to buy plants. The relatives here were told that Mrs Kloepfer was driving the car and suddenly cried out and slumped over. One of the neighbors who was in the front seat managed to grab the steering wheel and bring the car to a stop. Mrs Kloepfer was dead by the time help could be summoned.
She served as Crawford County treasurer from Sep 1, 1941 until Sep 6, 1953. Before becoming treasurer, she was deputy in the treasurer's office for nine years. After serving as treasurer, she again worked as a deputy in the office until 1956 when she retired. She was also an active worker for the Democratic party in the county. Her body is at a Del Ray, Fla., funeral home but will be returned to Bucyrus later in the week." Tuesday, 13 Jan 1959. Marion Star

She was born in North RObinson Feb 12, 1884 to Isaac W and Susanna Secrist Smith. Her first husband, Robert L. Bogan, died in Aug 1923. She married Charles E. Klossner Feb 12, 1928. He survies with a daughter, Mrs Mary Lou Rumpler of Sidney, 5 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Samuel Craig of Mansfield, and a brother, Kelley Smith of Bellville [sic].
8 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs Klossner came to Galion from North Robinson 54 years ago. She was a member of First Methodist Church here for more than 50 years, taught Sunday school for 24 years, sang in the choir and was a member of the Naomi Class of the church...

Mr Koppe was a bookkeeper at the EM Freese and Co here for 40 yrs. [sic] He was secretary of the local Masonic order, and had many acquaintances in Masonic circles throughout Ohio.

"Caledonia, July 12-- Dr. J. B. Kring of this place, was the unfortunate victim of an exciting experience Saturday morning about 10:30 o'clock when his new Buick machine went down a nine foot embankment.
The physician was returning from visiting a patient west of town and when within a half mile of town his automobile skidded off an abn ment [sic] of a bridge precipitating Dr Kring and his machine down a steep embankment. The machine which had been puchased by the physician only 3 weeks ago, was badly wrecked, the top and seat torn off and the ____ axle broken. Dr Kring had three ribs broken and was badly bruised about the body. The doctor considers himself fortunate to have escaped death." Marion Weekly Star, 17 July 1909
"Bonnie L. Kruger, 93, passed away June 13, 1998, in Summerville, S.C.
Born in Galion, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Shumaker and Bessie Gwinner Shumaker. Mrs. Kruger was a homemaker, and was of the Methodist faith.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1963; she is survived by daughter, Patricia Kyle of Orlando, Fla.; sons, Robert Kruger of Arlington, Texas, David A. Kruger Sr. of North, S.C., and Lawrence Kruger of Edisto Island, S.C.; sister, Virginia Payne of Galion, Ohio; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

"New Haven- William B. Kurtz, former resident of New Haven, died late Monday afternoon in a Cleveland hospital. He had been an employe of the Bell Telephone comapny, until his retirement several years ago. He was a member of the Pioneers club of the company, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Cleveland chapter, 135.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs Eva Chapman, 629 Scholl road , Mansfield, and several nieces. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.

Surviving are a brother, Jacob Kurtz of Bucyrus; four step-children, Edward and Louis Shiffler of Bucyrus, Mrs. E. E. Davis of Crestline and Mrs. Carl Rein of Mansfield; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Three brothers: Samuel of Chatfield Tp.; Jacob of Bucyrus; and Fred of Michigan, one daughter preceded him in death. He was a carpenter at which he worked in Bucyrus and vicinity. A native of Whetstone Tp., she had resided for a time with her son in Cleveland Hts previous to returning here to the home for elderly women.
Born April 2, 1868, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Sherer. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of the church.
Surviving are her son, James H., a grandson who is a physician and a great-grandchild.
