| RFT III OLD WEST GEAR | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I am a leather artisan that is extremely concerned about quality in craft. I offer the finest in Old West style and Cowboy leather work. My gear is not only purchased for cowhand use out on the range but some dudes and dudettes find it beautiful enough to hang on their wall as art. My most popular, practical and historical type items are my laced canteens and Jack Daniels saddle flasks. All my leather work is custom, one of a kind, and never will you see an identical piece, even if you choose not to specify your own tooling pattern. Other western and old time cowboy style products that I am proud of, are my five gallon saddlebags, hand made and tooled braces, and the infamous rft3 original cowboy rag. | The RFT III original cowboy rag is such an original design its copyrighted. Its 44 plus inches from end to end has the appearance it was torn to allow for plenty of material to keep the dust on the range where it belongs, yet provide a smaller knot, and long John Wayne style tails. Its my feelings that creativity was not what was lacking in the Old West. It was tools. Cowboy rags of the day were ripped out of an old dress or such. The materials were normally somewhat colorful but not the silk you see at all the cowboy shoots. The edges have the frayed authentic appearance, but won't unravel because of a machine stich 1/4 inch from the edge. Colors vary and prices are $17.00 for one and two for $30.00 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
