During my early college years I spend a holiday of 3 months in Plymouth Massachussets in the North East of the United States. This area is also called New England becoz its the place where the founding fathers of the United States first landed after their long trip from Plymouth in the United Kingdom. I stayed with an American-Italian family who were quite well off and took care of their 3 kids during my holiday. On these 2 webpages you can find some images of that holiday. Hope you enjoy it !
Boston a very nice city where I spent quite some time trying to get my visa arranged. Thanks god I didnt only see the inside of the government buildings and had lots of positive impressions of life in the USA as well. Below are some pictures from Bunker Hill day which is a historical memorial day with lots of music, parades and colourful traditionally dressed people. Whow, Americans are very nationalist, its good to appreciate the country you live in but the Americans do overdo it a little bit I think hahaha. Anyway it was very nice to see :o)
Boston, home of the Red Sox Baseball is the nr 1 sport in the United States with Basketball being about similar in popularity I imagine. You have to know the rules to be able to enjoy it, but being there and seeing a double header played is enough time to get the drift of it. Don' forget to try the hot dogs !!! (if you have a strong stomach)
Part of Massachussetts is the Cape Cod area. Cape Cod is the beach area in Massachussets where its extremely pleasant to spend some time. Nice beaches, clean sand, lots of space and everything you need from a beach. Here you see me with the kids that I was taking care of. Mr Baywatch huh :oP
