In Honor of:
Robenna Ramsey Worley
She cared for all of us. Every one of her grandchildren lived with her or on her farm at one time in their lives.  She raised two of her granddaughters after tragedy struck and always gave them unmeasurable amounts of love and understanding.
Grandmother
Born Nov 2, 1907, she lived most of her life in Madison County. Although she never learned to drive, she managed to go visit her family and encouraged them to be the best they could be.  She was married when she was thirteen and lived all her married life on the farm . She and her husband raised three children and cared for many of their family including most of their grandchildren at one time or another. She taught herself to sew  and made most of the clothes for her family . She did all kinds of farm work including canning, gardening ,and made quilts. All of her sewing was done on a treadle machine.  She was the kind of person who was happy that you advanced yourself and always praised you.  She never seemed to be envious and always had a kind word for you. She died on August 9, 1987 of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) with complications from heart disease.  As I look back on my life as a child she influnced me and the person I am today the most.  My parents both died young and she became my rock.
