Chicken Manchurian ------------------------- Ingredients: For Chicken marinate: 400 grams boneless chicken cut in 1 inch cubes 3 garlic cloves finely chopped 2 inches ginger finely chopped 2 egg whites Salt to taste 1 tbsp sugar 3 tbsp soya sauce 3 tbsp chilli sauce (green chillies finely chopped - instead if preferred) 2 tsp vinegar (balsamic) Marinate this mixture for atleast 2 hours. Add cornflour (3-4 tbsp) to thicken the batter and deep fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Keep the pieces on a tissue paper so that excess oil gets soaked. For Manchurian Sauce: 2 cups chopped spring onions 3 garlic gloves finely chopped 2 inches ginger finely chopped 2 tbsp oil 5-6 tbsp soya sauce 3 tbsp corn starch powder (mix in warm water) 1 tsp vinegar Salt to taste Heat oil in a wok. Add garlic and ginger cloves and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add spring onions and saute for a minute. Add soya sauce, vinegar and 3 cups of water. Add salt accordingly. Bring it to a boil. Add corn starch mixture and let the sauce thicken. Finally, add the fried chicken pieces and serve it hot with rice.
