My friends and I went to see The White Stripes at Masonic Temple in November.  Masonic Temple is not a very big venue, in fact it's really a theatre so basically there isn't a bad seat in the house which is awesome because we could only get balcony seating but we were able to see both Jack and Meg perfectly.
The Hentchmen were the opening act and they had a good sound but for some reason they were so loud, louder then The White Stripes (or maybe not... I could've lost some of my hearing while they were setting up for them).  Anyway, The White Stripes came on around 9 pm, Meg ran out and sat herself at her drums and Jack walked out, threw his cigarette on the floor and went right into Black Math (the second song on the album, Elephant).

The whole performance was awesome, some of the highlights include Meg leaving her drums to do her solo of In the Cold, Cold Night, with Jack backing her up on guitar.  Another cool moment was when Jack went over to the keyboard to do I Want to be the Boy to Warm Your Mother's Heart.  Then midway through they played their hit song, The Hardest Button to Button, to which the crowd went nuts.  And for the encore Jack and Meg came back out and performed their huge number 1 hit Seven Nation Army, then closed with a rendition of Boll Weavil, to which Jack encouraged the crowd to sing along... which we all happily obliged.
My Friend and I on Our Way to Detroit
The White Stripes
All in all it was an unforgettable night.  Plus it was a special concert because it was a homecoming for the Detroit natives that are The White Stripes.  During the show Jack kept saying "It's great to be here in Toledo."  Eventually the crowd started to boo to which Jack responded, "I'm just kidding, you don't think I know where I am?  This isn't Eminem, I was born here.  You rock Detroit."  That was followed by deafening cheers.  Like I said it was a great night and my friends and I each bought souvenirs to commemorate the experience, I got a sweet White Stripes shirt and a sticker package, woo.  I definitely plan on seeing them again as soon as they come back my way.  By the way camera's were not allowed so the photos on this page are from other concerts but it pretty much gives you an idea of what I saw.
