| I went and saw The Von Bondies at their, sort of, homecoming show in Pontiac, Michigan. The Von Bondies are a garage rock band from Detroit who are just starting to make a name for themselves. They played at a small club called Clutch Cargo's. The atmosphere was awesome, everyone was ??????pumped up and ready to rock. We missed the very first band but while we were standing around in the back hall waiting for the second band, Jason Stollsteimer (the lead singer of The Von Bondies) walked by and stood right next to us. I was so mad though because by the time I got my camera out he was pulled away by his wife. Oh well, I was still close enough to touch him and that's cool in itself. |

The second band was from Kentucky and they were called VHS or Beta. They were actually really good and they got the crowd right into it. They were a rock band with a bit of techno mixed in. And their set was short and sweet so I didn't have to stand in the pit for that long waiting for The Von Bondies. |

| Finally, The Von Bondies took the stage about a half hour after VHS or Beta left. The crowd went nuts. The show started off with high energy and kept right on going. Then the second Stollsteimer began their hit song C'mon C'mon the whole crowd flipped out and people were moshing and being thrown this way and that it was chaos. I was right in the middle of the whole thing because I was only two rows back from the stage and I'm not very big so thankfully I was pushed to the side out of the way of the heavy moshing. |

| However, the whole experience was amazing and I will definitely go see them again the next time they come around. Plus, I got sweet pics because I was so close and the guy in front of me let me go ahead of him so I could get a better view. Good times, good times. Long live ROCK!! |
