Woohoo, I got to see FLEETWOOD MAC, live and in concert.  What can I say about Fleetwood Mac???  They are an AMAZING band that formed in the early 70's (if you didn't know that then what are you doing here?).  Well,  a couple months of waiting after I bought my ticket, it was finally time to go and make the trip to Cleveland.  Eventually we got there around 3PM.  So to kill time my friends and I went to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.  Not much has changed since the last time I've been there but it's always a fun experience.  After that we grabbed a quick lunch and made our way to the venue.
The Blossom Music Center is an outdoor venue with a fairly large pavillion.  However, we only had lawn tickets (but with some persuasive manuevers and cunning ability we were able to sneak by security and score some empty seats).  We also were told that there would be absolutely NO picture taking... so the pics on this page are just a sample of what we saw.  Eventually, Fleetwood Mac took to the stage and belted out the old classics.  It was AMAZING, we even had the advantage of having two huge flatscreens on either side of the stage so no matter where you were sitting you could see them perfectly.
They played most of their hits (with the exception of songs sung by Christie McVie as she is no longer a part of the band).  But they did kick ass renditions of The Chain, Don't Stop, and Dreams.  And even when the thunder and lightening rolled in and the rain poured down over the venue they never let up one bit.  Lindsey Buckingham did quite a few energetic guitar solos to the delight of the fans sitting close enough to touch him!  Stevie Nicks sang just as well as she did back when Fleetwood Mac were in their prime.  And to top off the whole experience Stevie and Lindsey danced for a long period of time then finished up with a long hug.  After that the crowd went nuts.
The concert was definitely a night to remember.  Despite the fact that Fleetwood Mac have been rocking for close to 30 years now, they still managed to put on a high-energy, high-performance, highly-entertaining 3 HOUR SHOW!  It was pretty sweet.
