New Youth Team Steps Up: Our developing links with the community are illustrated by the fact that last season's Oswald Road Under-16's team will now be our youth team. West Didsbury & Chorlton under-18's who are members of the Tameside and District League, will play home games at Brookburn Road on Sunday afternoons. They will be managed by Oliver Maurer, who will be supported by Oswald Road stalwart Monica Creer. The youth team is a sign of our intentions to continue to play a full part in the Chorlton community. Oswald Road runs a series of teams from primary school age to under-16's. The move to our club seems a natural stepping stone and gives the youngsters a chance to play on our excellent facilities. Team colours are Red & White

The youth players also have the chance to play for one of our four teams on Saturdays, presently three of West's first team in recent season's were in the Oswald Road under-16's and, two, Mark Turley & currently Stuart Cook, young player of the year.

Ollie and Monica have the full weight of the committee and, everyone connected with West Didsbury & Chorlton to help and support them in the coming season.
