Labor Day Vacation on the Lady Jane

The Lady Jane was on the move again!

From August 28 until September 4th we spent traveling and enjoying the nice weather.  We spent 2 days docked next to the Butlers and their boat "Insatiable" in Cobourg Ontario.  Excellent port, this is one of the nicest marinas and towns on Lake Ontario.  It is one of our favorites!

From Cobourg we traveled to Toronto, and found a beautiful spot on the wall at Hanlan's Point.   Hanlan's Point is on Centre Island, just a short ferry ride from downtown Toronto.  We met our friends Rick and Cathy here, they have a 30' Chapparel named "Sidekick"

Next stop was Port Credit.  Port Credit is a village in Missisauga, about 10 miles west of Toronto.  We stayed at the Credit Village Marina, very nice marina which is run by the village of Port Credit.  We enjoyed a nice dinner at Snug Harbor, a restuarant right on the water within the confines of the Marina.  We also spent some time with Jane's parents, who live in Etobicoke.

Our voyage back to Braddocks Bay took us across the lake to the small town of Olcott, where we checked into US Customs and took on some fuel.  From there we traveled the US shoreline to Braddocks bay.

We had fantastic weather except for the last 2 days.  The A/C really got a workout on this trip!

Photos to come.....
