| Port Credit/Toronto Trip 2002 |
| The week of August 24th to September 1st were spent cruising beautiful Lake Ontario once again. We left Saturday night, spent one night on the hook in Olcott, NY then off to Port Credit, Ontario for 3 days then over to Toronto for another 3 days. We had great weather except for some high NE winds which made for a terrible surge in Port Credit. We ended up staying one extra night at Port Credit due to the rough lake conditions. When we finally did make the trip to Toronto, we pounded through 3-5 ft waves the whole way. the short 10 mile trip took us close to one hour. However, a pleasant stay at Hanlan's Point on Toronto Island made the trip worthwhile. Fishing on the trip was only fair this year, Capt Ron landed 2 pike and one small bass, Rob didn't catch a thing! Feel free to view our photos our trip and leave comments in our ship's log. -Capt Ron |
