Here are some common Japanese terms that are used here and on countless other anime sites! ^_^

Ai - Love, passion.
Anime - Ahh, what you can find on this site! It's a syle of cartoon animation from Japan.
Arigato - Thank you.
Baka - idiot.
Bishoujo - Pretty girl or girl, ie. Usagi or Sakura.
Bishounen - Pretty boy or boy, ie. Kenshin or Quatre Winner.
-chan - shows affection.
Chibi - Small, child sized, or annoying.
Gomen nasai - Sorry!
Hai - Yes.
Hentai/ Eechi - A form of anime or manga that is pornographic. Yuck! -_-
Iie - No.
Ja ne - See you later.
Kawaii - Cute,darling.
-ko - babe, child.
Konnichiwa - Hello.
Manga - Literally "cartoon" but more often it refers to graphic novels (comic books).
Mangaka - A person or a group of people that write and or draw manga.
Neko - Cat.
Onegai shimasu - Please.
Otaku - A "rabid" anime or manga fan. In Japan, this term is deragatory.
- san - Ms.,Mrs.,Mr.
Sayoonara- Goodbye.
Sensei - Teacher, master.
Shounen ai - "boy love" another more toned down form of yaoi.
Shoujo ai - "girl love", toned down form of yuri.
Tsuki - Moon.
Usagi - Rabbit.
Yaoi - Male x male romantic relationships in anime or manga.
Yuri - Female x female romantic relationships.
