The unsung hero of this photograph is the donkey,
unfortunately we seem to have only one end of the donkey. One of
the roadways of Ty Trist was flooded and the donkey hauled the men out
of the pit. Note they are all in soaking wet clothes but they had
to continue the shift regardless of the circumstances. My Great Grandfather
