I started playing playing Ultima Online (UO) about 8 months ago when all my friends started playing. Its an online fantasy game which allows plays to create characters to be played in a virtual world called " Britainia ". There are sword and sorcerers as well as monsters and mythical creatures to be fought, with gold and magic to be won. Allot of the characters you see online aren't just computer controlled non player characters, they are other people just like you playing the same game on the same world.   What amazes me about the game is the fact that items and account for the game are bought and sold on Ebay and other internet sellers for REAL money. That's right, virtual stuff is being bought and sold for real money.

    I've enjoyed the game, and have to admit I have forked out some  cash for UNREAL gold. Don't get me wrong, you don't have to pay real money, but it helped me catch up with my friends, character wise so they would have to keep watching me and could enjoy themselves.

    There are also sites on the web dedicated to UO and the buying selling and trading of goods on the game UO Stratics, and UO Tradepost are ones I like because the also keep up with changes in the game and have forums of discussion related to the many topics of UO
