The cabin
Berget is a bright, spacious and comfortable cabin made in a very traditional Norwegian wooden log style.

There is no noise here. No alarm clocks, no traffic. No stress.

Just natural life.

In the main cabin there are 6 bedrooms, five doubles and one quadruple. We also have a wonderful mini-cabin with a double bed-perfect if you want a spacious and cosy hideaway! We never fill more than 4 rooms at the time, so the cabin will never be crowded.

We prefer to have our evenings lit by candle light, our cabin heated by woodburning ovens and warming our feet by the wonderful fireplace in the sitting room.

We invite you to do the same!

We invite you to wake up in the morning after a good night�s sleep in one of our large comfortable bedrooms to a superb view and, if the weather permits, have breakfast with us in the garden.

If you�re looking for good walks in the area, we are more than happy to give you advice on where to go.
Berget in autumn colours Want to go fishing? No problem. We�ll tell you where and what to do.
If you want  to sit in front of the fireplace, read a book on the lawn, play cards, have a snooze... you�re more of course than welcome to.
Relax, you�re at Berget!

But rest assured that at the day�s end you will not want to miss a hot shower in our very special shower room (you will see it when you get here!). Candle-lit of course...
Our kitchen is large and has both a wood-fire and a gas stove. We have a frost-free cellar for food storage. And the water is (in our opinion) the best in the world-why pay an arm and a leg for bottled water when you can have glacier water straight from the tap?!

We also enjoy a natural life using plants, herbs and berries from the mountains in our cooking.		 blueberries
