May God bless my Donor and his family, and all donors and their families out there, whoever you might be? And on behalf of myself and all other Recipients I say a big heartfelt Thank you to you all. May our progress and recovery ease your pain and suffering, even if it only in a little way.

AN ORGAN DONOR SAVED MINE�
Since writing this story, I have found out who my donor was. I also have been blessed by being able to talk to my donor�s sister and their mum. Legislation at this time prevents this occurring, so I class my achievement, as not only a privilege, but also an honour. I could never explain the feeling of joy and contentment I experienced after talking to them both I believe that all donor families and recipients, who express a desire to meet, should have the right to do so. Guidelines should be there, but they should be laid down after consultation with those who have had first hand experience, either by being a recipient or a member of a donor�s family. I will not rest until I have done all that I can, to ensure that others will experience my joy and happiness, which should be rightfully theirs as well.

As you can tell from the previous pages, I have met my Donor Family now and also another recipient and her daughter, and wouldn't change a thing. They have all become like extended members of our family, and we stay in regular contact. Mirva (my ex) and I, became regular visitors to Lori and Michael's,' Pet Supplies Direct', at Harbour Town, on the Gold Coast. Our 'Office', for Latte, was Mustang Sallys, at the same location.
