The big day finally arrived! At 7 am Pam was admitted to Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas to be induced. By 1:00 she was more than ready for the epidural. By 4:00 the epidural had worn off on her left side, and couldn't be fixed without Nicholas protesting. So we were in for half-natural childbirth! Finally, after about 20 minutes of pushing...
Nicholas Hawkins Pigott entered the world at 7:06 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2002. He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces, and was 20 inches long. He had reddish blond hair, dark blue eyes, and dimples! |
