| Groupings of the squad will be decided by drawing of lots. | ||||||||||||||||
| All qualifying matches will be a single round-robin format. | ||||||||||||||||
| Each player will play against every player in their designated squad. | ||||||||||||||||
| All matches must be played on or before the scheduled date. | ||||||||||||||||
| Venue and day/time of match will be decided and agreed by the | ||||||||||||||||
| opposing individual. | ||||||||||||||||
| A player who did not show up on the scheduled match (without prior notice) | ||||||||||||||||
| will be defaulted. | ||||||||||||||||
| A match won by default will be awarded with the maximum point. | ||||||||||||||||
| In case both players were not able to meet the schedule, both players | ||||||||||||||||
| will be defaulted. | ||||||||||||||||
| In the event a player retires, the final score shall remain and will | ||||||||||||||||
| be used in the quotient calculation. | ||||||||||||||||
| Only official balls must be used during matches. | ||||||||||||||||
| Both players shall decide who will take the ball after the match. | ||||||||||||||||
| Qualifying matches will be a single round-robin format, | ||||||||||||||||
| best of 3 sets with tie-break at 6 games all. | ||||||||||||||||
| Rd of 16 qualifiers will be decided by the accumulated ranking points after the | ||||||||||||||||
| round-robin. | ||||||||||||||||
| In case of a tie, the player with the most number of sets won will advance. | ||||||||||||||||
| If there is still a tie, whoever won in their round-robin match will prevail. | ||||||||||||||||
| If the tie involves 3 or more players, the player with the highest quotient | ||||||||||||||||
| against each other will prevail. Their quotient against players who are not | ||||||||||||||||
| involved in the tie will be ignored. | ||||||||||||||||
