| Kira, 1993-1999 |
| Kira was a delightful little member of the Noon family (so long as you kept your fingers out of her cage). She was a lutino Peach-Faced Lovebird who ran about chittering as she attempted to keep the universe in order. She was also a bit insane, wearing toilet paper tubes as armour to defend her cage, and as jumpsuits, placing herself inside and leaping to the floor below. When she died of a urinary infection in July 1999 I cried for many hours over her untimely passing. |
