| A Preface to Democratic Theory, By Robert Alan Dahl. I read this book at the suggestion of my social studies teacher my senior year in DGSHS. I just reread it last year. I think my old (but getting younger with each passing year) teacher would be surprised to know how much that recommendation has affected my thinking.
