Really, there were two main events in July/August. The first one was the visit of two short term missionary teams to Vladimir. 24 americans from Liberty Christian Fellowship in Hemet, Ca., Grace Chapel in Fortuna, Ca., and Calvary Chapel in Lynchburg, Va. joined together to spread the gospel throughout the Vladimir region through concerts, baloon making, and face painting. It was so awesome to see that in every city the concert halls were full to overflowing. At one park in Murom, there were nearly 700 in attendance. We rejoice that so many had the opportunity to hear the gospel and trust that God has planted seeds in the hearts of many.
The other main event was the return of the Fadness family and my fiance, Pam, to Russia. They arrived together from L.A. on August 15th. What a joy it was to be reunited with our loved ones. A whole bus load of folks from the church made the drive to Moscow to welcome them home. For Pam and I, it was the end of a two month wait to see eachother face to face again after our engagement on June 4th. God is good! Since their return we have all been busy ministering the gospel at the last outreach concert with the team, preparing and participating in Losha Tolmassov and Marina Belaya's wedding, and making plans for a new season of ministry this fall.
No decision yet on Pam and I's wedding date/location, but hopefully, that will come soon. Thank you for your continued prayers about that.
God bless! Ron
