The few short hours before TNE
--- A Workout Gym --- [Alastor Stonewall is lying down on a bench, with a large weight above his head. It is roughly four hundred pounds.] Trainer: Careful with that! You could hurt yourself lifting that much! [Stonewall just ignores the man and proceeds to do twenty repetitions. Afterwards, Stonewall replaces the weights on the bar.] Stonewall: Phew, that was quite a productive two hours. Better not overdo it today though, I've got a big match tonight. [Stonewall starts to do cool down exercises as Allison, who was running on a treadmill, hops off after about fortyfive minutes of running.] Allison: Well, that should do it for me today. What did you lift today Jason? Stonewall: I worked my way up to four hundred pounds today. I probably could have gone a little higher, but I have my match today. I don't want to overdo it. [Allison joins Jason in doing his cool down exercises.] Allison: Hey Jason, I heard that Karl Davis did an interview last night, about four or so hours later than the one we did at Coors Field. Have you listened to it yet? Stonewall: No. I better get one more promo in before tonight, because I want people to make sure they pay attention to my match as I kick Karl Davis around the ring. Beating him at his own game is going to be a great feeling! Allison: Alright then, are you done with those stretches? Stonewall: Yeah, let's go. [Allison and Stonewall pick up their gear and leave for their hotel room.] --- Stonewall's Hotel Room --- [In the hotel room, Stonewall picks up the tape and pops it in the VCR. He and Allison watch it. After it's done, he turns the TV off.] Stonewall: Hey Allison, go grab the camcorder. Allison: Way ahead of you Jason! [Sure enough, Allison is holding the camcorder and is pointing it in Stonewall's direction. She gives a thumbs up as she begins to record.] Stonewall: Well, it seems that Davis is very hell-bent on trying to be a threat tonight. I mean, with his intelligence insults and all, I am shaking in my boots! [Stonewall picks up a pillow and hides behind it, shaking.] Stonewall: Oh please Mr. Davis, I am so scared, please don't mutilate me in front of my girlfriend! [Stonewall tosses the pillow to the side and laughs a little.] Stonewall: Seriously, I hope you didn't fall for that bit of sarcasm. Now Karl, how said I learned street-fighting in five minutes? Did I goto that alley for five minutes, and then left? No!! I spent around four hours just taking the crash course in street-fighting! And yes, I'm aware that it won't compare to a lifetime of street-fighting, but what do you want me to do, jump in a time machine and change history? F---, I learned more than you give me credit for, but that is okay. You'll just not expect how good I've become in the past week. Your about to be given a HUGE wakeup call... [Stonewall stands up and grabs his pair of brass knuckles that he intends on bringing to the matchup.] Stonewall: So, when you step into the ring, you simply do not care? Sounds fair enough. However, you have no idea what it feels like to win a hard fought matchup, because you don't care. You don't know what it feels like to win a title, because you don't care. Those extreme sensations, they are among the best feelings in the world, and you have not felt them. Whatever, I could care less for your safety, but I do care about winning. And I am more than ready to take you on! Stonewall: So, now your questioning the values of trust, eh? I used to be like that, not trusting anyone, and ready to stab anyone in the back at any time. But I've changed, but for the better. You see, trust is much more than you think it is. Had I kept going on the road of un-trust, I would have gone insane. I can't pretend to be something I'm not forever Davis. Maybe that is who you are, an untrusting fool. Keep up your path, I'll follow mine. Trust will save me in the end, because Allison would never hurt me in the way you are hinting at. She knows what I do in the ring is strictly business, and she knows Jason Gallant, not Alastor Stonewall, the man who will be kicking your ass tonight. And Troy Flash, the other person in my corner, we hold more respect for each other than trust. To backstab him would be pointless, cause what do I have to prove to Troy? I've already beaten him in the ring, and now he is proving himself to me. I respect that, and we have a pact of not attacking each other, and terminating Vital Operations. Plus he knows what would happen if he backstabs me... [Stonewall takes a few punches in the air. He looks into the camera again.] Stonewall: Oh yeah Davis, for the last God damn time, I KNOW WHAT A HARDCORE MATCH IS ABOUT! Jesus, I'm not the idiot you keep labeling me with. That's just a sign of under-estimation. I'm not out of my element, I'm just participating in something I haven't done in a while. Huh? you exclaim. What do you think my childhood was like for a good amount of time? Why do you think people fear me? That's not a reputation that is earned easily. For about six straight years in my past, I have fought more people than you could imagine, and I put those punks in their place. They wanted to mess with me, well, they got what was coming to them. Now, I'm only rekindling the flame that has been estinguished for a while, it's not hard to relearn something, eh? I thought about surprising you by showing you I know MUCH more than you thought, but why bother now? You'll need all the help you can get. [Stonewall takes the knux off and tosses them on the hotel bed.] Stonewall: So what if you claim your four percent body fat? At three hundred and thirty pounds, there is no way you could be that much muscle. Looks can't conceal everything, learn that now. So what if you can actually bench five hundred pounds, I'll admit now I've not maxed out that high yet, but strength isn't all that matters. You claim toughness, well I claim intelligence. You can beat anyone if you stay on your toes and keep one move ahead of them, and that applies to ANY form of fighting, technical or street-fight. How are some people able to come out of a fight unscathed? It's cause they know what they are doing! And I know exactly what I'm doing, and it will be the deciding factor in this matchup! [Stonewall picks up his duffel bag, like he is ready to leave. He checks his watch.] Stonewall: Well, it is less than three hours before we meet. I've got some preparation and last minute reviewing to do before I take you out. Come prepared Davis, cause I know I will. It'll be a pleasure teaching you what hardcore is all about, and from a technical wrestler, no less! Hahaha! [Allison shuts off the camera and takes the tape out.] Allison: So, we're leaving now? Stonewall: Yep. As I said, I've got some last minute reviewing of what I've learned in street-fighting to go over and then get ready mentally and physically. C'mon Allison, let's go, and bring that tape with you, I'm gonna drop it off in Davis' locker room, so he has to enter our match knowing just what I said! [Stonewall and Allison leave the hotel and get in their rental car. They drive to Coors Field, planning on what they will do after Stonewall wins his match tonight.]
