1. Five month experience as Junior Environmental Scientist in District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh under "State Environmental Education Program and Solid Waste Management Scheme" from 7th July 1997 to 1st Dec. 1997.
Worked as Field Assistant in DST funded project entitle “Vocal and Visual signals in few avian species: their importance and significance” under the supervision of Dr. Dinesh Bhatt Reader, Deptt. of Zoology and Environmental Science, Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, from 5 Feb. 1998 to 24 Aug. 2000.
Worked as Junior Research Fellow in MoEF funded project “Inventorisation of faunal resources of Protected Areas and National Parks of Uttaranchal and U.P.” under the supervision of Dr. Arun Kumar, Additional Director, Zoological Survey of India, Dehra Dun, from 24 Sep. 2001 to 30 June 2004.
Worked as Lecturer (Environmental Science) at Amrapali Institute Haldwani affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital, and Uttaranchal Technical University, Dehradun, India from Sep. 2004 to 31st July 2007.

Technical skillS
· Work experience in solid waste and its management techniques.
· Work experience in sociobiology of birds in urban and forest ecosystem.
· Field recording and analysis of acoustic signals: About 4 years experience of acoustic signals recording and analysis, using a JVC Zoom MZ-500 unidirectional microphone and a SONY CFS 1030S sound recorder. Physical analyses of signals were made with the help of Digital Storage Oscilloscope + Computer + Sound Analyzing Software.
· Field photography: About seven years experience of field photography and videography in nature, and well acquainted with still/video photography cameras viz. Pentax / Canon, SLR cameras with Zoom/ Telelens (200 - 600 mm) and Handicam.
· Computer handling: Familiar with computer and usage of some software’s.
· Experimental designing and Manuscript writing: Adequate knowledge of playback experiments, nest-box experiments and manuscript writing and use of biostatistics.
