May I wish you a Happy New Year with many philatelic and personal successes!

On behalf of the Cluj Philatelic Association I have the pleasure to announce the organization of the National Topical Philatelic Exhibition with international participation FILTEM 2004 to be held in Cluj, Turda and Dej between 28 May- 3 June 2004. The exhibition is patronized by the Romanian Philatelic Federation and will be organized with the cooperation of the Philatelic circles: Baricada from Bucharest, Turda and Dej.

The exhibition will adhere to the general FIP rules.

We invite you to submit exhibits in following classes: topical, maximaphily, cartophily, open class, single frame, literature.

Participation is free but participants will be asked to pay the postal and insurance fees. Those participants wishing to come to Cluj and need hotel reservation or tourist information, should contact the organizing committee.

Opening of the exhibition: Cluj 28 May, Turda 30 May, Dej 31 May (Turda is situated 30 km far from Cluj and Dej is situated 45 km far from Cluj).

In Cluj will be displayed exhibits of any medical-red cross topic; a special section will be dedicated to the Day of Italy, thus exhibits on Italy will also be accepted.

A new section will be dedicated to free entries of physicians' exhibits!

In Turda will be displayed exhibits on the topics history and military. In Dej will be displayed exhibits on paintings and children.

Deadline for applications: 20 February 2004

Deadline for the arrival of exhibits: 04 May 2004.

In literature class: deadline is 15 May 2004.
