Exports and Imports

Romblon takes its pride in its export quality marble product. Marble processing is the major activity of the province. Department of Trade and Industry records show that marble products generated about PhP 7.356 million in 1998. The largest export markets were markets Australia, United States and England. In 1999, sales totaled PhP 7.586 million with Norway being the largest market. Novelty items accounted for 62% of these exports for the same period.
