Sign Eleven: Torso
The Sequential Power Symbol appears again in Sign Eleven: Torso.
Chains
hang
the blessed
virgin
of the forgotten apocalypse:
Look within.
Torso has connections to Sign Three: Lamb of God. It hangs from a wooden plank. It has pealed botanic bark and smooth, animalistic skin. And, just as Sign Three completed the sequence of the creation of the Mind, Sign Eleven finishes creation of the Body. This is the final piece of the puzzle that was broken away from Sign Four, complete with tentacles.

As with the previous four signs, this Body also has a wound of crucifixion. But unlike the previous wounds, this one is open. By looking through the spearhole on the side of the torso, one can see a similar scene as that inside the body of Sign Ten. Here the
Life-Force Virus, in the presence of the Sequential Power Symbol which rings the circular opening inside the bottom of Torso, again creates the body from within.
The important difference is there no longer exists a need for a growth vehicle. Torso does not receive its growth power from a genetic field of growth like Sign Seven; or a life-vine such as Sign Eight or Sign Ten; or within a tentacle as with Sign Nine. The Sequential Power Symbol (which also appears on the wooden plank), has replaced a physical growth vehicle with a dream symbol. It is the idea of a god-power, appearing from another reality found in the dream state, that now facilitates creation.

Additionally, the number eleven exceeds both perfection (ten) and the law. In numerology, "11" is expressed as 1+1=2. We are back to duality, which is here expressed by the haunting face on Torso being inverted. It urges us to look within and discover the "other." This is the font of creation.
