Pr 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Mt 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

I am not concerned.

That doesn't mean that I'm not going to say anything; it simply means that I'm not concerned about getting back at people who slander me; question my holiness; and question my motives. I am confident that the Lord will keep his promises. It is not I who should be concerned; it is those who corrupt His words; those who hide behind an imagined wall of immunity and refuse to accept the responsibility of their actions, and the responsibility to account for their irresponsible preaching. It is those most unfortunate men who have abused and lorded over their flocks whom Jesus will accuse and shame.

Jas 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Simply put these men are shamelessly putting the word of God aside so that they can keep their own traditions.

Mr 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do...

Mr 7:13
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Oh, sure!...they think they are doing God's will but they are mistaken. Even though they aren't seeking my life...they sure would like to silence the telling of these things. Sometimes I wonder that if they had the power...might it not go further???

Joh 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

They sometimes misuse scripture to try and intimidate me and sound holy to the sheep; cast doubt on the truthfulness of what I say; cast doubt on my holiness; and accuse me of being out of God's will...

Joh 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

The fact of the matter is that this is just one more instance of these men taking the scripture out of context to support their own evil purposes. This scripture specifically speaks about doubters of Christ's authority, and cannot honorably be used as a catch all verse to bad mouth people who disagree with them...that itself is dishonorable That wresting of scriptures alone should wake people up to the fact that these men are scripture twisters who have no qualms about lieing to make it appear that the scriptures support their views. Remember, these are men who are supposed to know better...??? That brings up the question: "Just how godly are they...really ?" Are these really the kind of men you want guiding you?

2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Friend, the truth is that they are guilty of the very same things they accuse other of. They squeal and whine when someone calls them on their scripture twisting...and that's a worse sin than some of the things they accuse other people of doing. It's pretty low when a person resorts to corrupting the word of God to support their pet peeves and to abuse their flock.

2Co 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth...

No...these men will have their reward. You just be sure that you don't let them steal yours too...
