¨ 8:00 AM - Nap Time! This is the first of two naps for the twins. For this one, they don't give us trouble going to sleep. They are usually tired and they can't wait to sleep. Because of Rachel's unpredictability, we put her in the playpen for her nap time.

¨ Sometime 10:00 AM - It's wakeup time. The morning naps run from 1 hour to as much as 2 1/2 hours. Both babies sleep at the same time but their lengths vary. Now its time to play more (this time with more energy).

¨ 11:15 AM - It's lunch time. The afternoon meal is usually packed with non-favorite items such as green beans, beef, chicken and other yummy stuff. The babies don't like the meat as much as fruit stuff. Sometimes, Rachel needs the bottle to make it through lunch.

¨ 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM - It's more playtime.

¨ 1:00 PM - Nap time AGAIN! The second nap is not always an easy one. You can tell that they are tired but sometimes they just won't go down right away, but sure enough, they do by 1:30 PM.

¨ 2:30 to 3:00 PM - Wakeup time. Sometimes they wake up happy but every now and then, they wake up crabby. (Bad dreams?)

¨ 3:00 PM - More playtime. We usually sneak in story time. They love to read books with us.

¨ 4:00 to 5:30 PM - Time to take a trip. Usually, Mommy takes the babies somewhere like Wal-mart. If Daddy is home, the family goes to the park or some outdoor activity.

¨ 5:30 PM - Dinner time. Yes, more time to eat mush food then more play time but they are usually in slow motion at this time of day. Sometimes, it is hard to keep them up. They get very cranky and cry over any little thing.

¨ 6:15 PM - Bath time. It is difficult but fun giving the twins a bath. We put Robby in the seat and Rachel is held by Mommy or Daddy. At this age, they are starting to play and enjoy their time in the bath. It's hard to keep water out of their eyes. Rachel wants to stand up and Robby won't tip his head back during the shampoo application. (Cindy said "If you can put my pregnancy pictures on the net, you can put your bath time photo on the web.") We take turns being in the bathtub with the babies, but both of us do work.

¨ 6:45 to 7:00 PM - Nighttime. Yes, they go to sleep this early! First they get their bottle.

When they are put down in the crib, they sometimes keep each other up until 7:30. One would sleep but then the other keeps him up and vice versa for 1/2 hour. It is funny to watch. Mommy and Daddy have a secret weapon to see what's going on in the room. It has infrared nighttime viewing (which is essential).

Wireless video piped to the bedroom.

But the inevitable happens.
