    Evoluția proteticii conjuncte moderne

    Protezarea conjunctă: între tratamentul prin obturații și protezarea mobilizabilă; indicațiile obturațiilor se extind, ale protezării mobilizabile se restrâng (cu ajutorul implantologiei dentare); Edentațiile se restrâng numeric. Crește importanța tratamentului ortodontic și parodontal. Crește rolul esteticii și al biocompatibilității materialelor de restaurare. Cerințele estetice nu au reflectare reală în gama de materiale fizionomice de restaurare existente. Crește presiunea economică. Crește importanța antisepsiei și sterilizării.
